Fadl Saadi
I am currently a Graduate Student at the California Institute of Technology and the Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis. My main interests are the intersection of science, technology and real world applications, especially when it comes to solar energy. I graduated from Stanford with both a BS (2010) and an MS (2011) in Chemical Engineering. There, I worked for several years in Dr. Jaramillo's group researching different techniques for stabilizing cuprous oxide for use as a light absorber. Currently I am working with Professor Nathan Lewis and the Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis on investigating novel acid stable catalysts for the water splitting reaction.

I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and the United Arab Emirates but I currently call the sunny skies of Pasadena home.
